These rates are provisional and are subject to confirmation. They may be altered without prior notice if this is made necessary by significant change in cost, school holidays and/or any other event.
A passport-sized photo is a necessary for a ski pass of more than 3 days (your passport photo can be copied by the issuing office)
Special rates for skiers under 12 years of age or over 60. Free passes for the under 5s and over 75s - proof of age required
Children under 12 years old ski free if both parents buy a 6 day pass (outside French School holidays and on presentation of written proof)
THEMED TRAILS
2 themed trails:
1. accessible from the val cenis le haut cable - non-skiers can see much of the alpine flora and fauna along this route.
2. reached via the La Ramasse chairlift - learnt about the heritage of the valley.
TOBOGGAN RUN
Specially designated toboggan run, open daily the same as the ski runs.
Reached via the Val Cenis Le Haut cable car (either a lift pass or a pedestrian ticket is necessary)
Well-signposted from arrival at the upper cable car station.
Altitude range : 1620 m, descending 120 m to 1500 m - Length of run : 900 m
The run
- can only be used by sledges with brakes,
- is restricted to those over 6 years old.
Helmets must be worn.
INTER-STATION USE
ski areas in Maurienne : holders of a valid Val Cenis lift pass for 2 days or more will receive a daily reduction of 12,50 € on day passes for other Maurienne ski areas.
SKI "HANDSFREE"
Ski "handsfree" in Val Cenis, thanks to the automatic electronic barriers ! Valid on passes for 3 days or more. Deposit of 3 € payable - refunded on return of pass.
SPECIAL RATES
Special rates for skiers under 12 years of age or over 60.
Free passes for the under 5s and over 75s
NB These special rates / free passes are subject to proof of age
Families with more than 3 children receive a 5 % reduction for each member of the family (proof of identity required)
SKIING FOR THE LESS ABLE-BODIED
Val cenis is determined to make mountain sports accessible to all. Lift pass reductions are given to users with reduced mobility (80%) and a free pass given to their companion (on proof of status)
INSURANCE
Who refunds the cost of the lift pass after an accident?
La Carte Neige
This covers the cost of help on and off the piste, in event of accident, and of your lift pass (if it is not used for 3 consecutive days), up to 220 €.
Valid for the season and until mid-october, you are also insured for hiking - except for treks and expeditions (rate not available at time of printing)
Le Carré Neige
This can be bought daily and, in event of accident, covers the cost of aid, ESF lessons and lift passes of at least 4 days duration (rate not available at time of printing)
